What you will learn

Most makeup courses teach looks. This one teaches skin, because a look on prepped skin holds and the same look on unprepped skin does not.

You will learn undertone matching across a range of skin tones, prep and base work, structural technique rather than trends, eye work built on shape instead of a copied tutorial, and the specific demands of bridal and event makeup — which is makeup that has to survive humidity, tears, hugs and a photographer's flash.

Kit building, hygiene, timing a booking, and how to run a bridal trial are taught alongside the technique, because event makeup is as much a scheduling skill as an artistic one.

1. Skin prep and base
The step that decides whether anything you do afterwards lasts.
2. Undertone and colour matching
Matching across a full range of skin tones, not a narrow one.
3. Structure and contour
Working with bone structure rather than applying a trend to every face.
4. Eye work by shape
Reading an eye and building for it, including lash strip application.
5. Bridal and event
Longevity, humidity, photography, and the bridal trial.
6. Kit, hygiene and timing
Building a kit that travels, sanitation, and booking realistic slots.

Questions about this course

Do I need my own kit to start?
No, a kit is included. Bring anything you already own and we will tell you what is worth keeping.
Do you cover darker skin tones?
Yes, across the full range. A course that only teaches one part of the spectrum is not teaching colour matching.
Is bridal makeup included?
Yes, as a full module — including how to run a trial and how to price an event.
Can I combine this with the lash course?
Many students do, and event clients frequently want both. Ask us about sequencing at your enrolment call.
