How it works
Waxing is a technique service that most places treat as a commodity, and the difference shows up in how your skin looks the next day. We work in small sections, at the correct temperature, with a single-use spatula every time — no double-dipping, ever.
Face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini and Brazilian are all available. If you have sensitive skin, are on retinol or certain medications, or have had a bad reaction before, tell us at booking. Some of those change the approach; some of them mean we reschedule you, and we would rather do that than treat skin that is not ready.
If you are considering laser hair removal, waxing is a reasonable interim — but you will need to stop waxing several weeks before your first laser session, because the laser needs the root in place.

Questions about this treatment
How long does my hair need to be?
About a quarter of an inch — roughly two weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip it.
I use retinol. Can I still get waxed?
Not on the area where you use it, without stopping several days beforehand. Tell us at booking and we will advise you properly — waxing over retinol-treated skin can lift skin, not just hair.
Does it hurt?
Briefly, and much less after the first few appointments. Working in small sections at the correct temperature makes a real difference.
What should I avoid afterwards?
Heat, sun, gym, pools and tight clothing for about 24 hours. Full aftercare is given to you in writing.
Can I wax between laser sessions?
No. Once you start laser, shave between sessions instead. Waxing removes the root the laser needs.
