How it works
Tattoo removal is slower and more variable than most people expect, and anyone who promises you a clean result in three sessions is not being straight with you. Ink colour, ink density, how deep it was placed, how old it is, where it sits on the body and your own immune response all change the outcome.
Black and dark inks respond best. Greens, light blues and some yellows are stubborn and sometimes do not clear completely. Sessions are spaced several weeks apart to let your body process the fragmented pigment between appointments — rushing the interval does not speed up the result, it only raises the risk.
At your consultation we look at the actual tattoo and give you an honest estimate of the range of sessions and what a realistic end point looks like for that specific piece. A consultation and patch test are required, the treatment is performed under physician supervision, and results vary from person to person.

Questions about this treatment
How many sessions will it take?
We give you a range after seeing the tattoo, never a fixed number. Ink, depth, age, location and your own immune response all affect it, and results vary from person to person.
Will the tattoo disappear completely?
Sometimes, and sometimes significant fading is the realistic end point — particularly with greens, light blues and some yellows. We will tell you which case yours is likely to be at the consultation.
Does it hurt?
It is uncomfortable, and most clients compare it to the tattoo being applied. Sessions are short and we use cooling throughout.
Why do I have to wait so long between sessions?
Because your body, not the laser, clears the fragmented pigment. Shortening the interval does not speed up the result; it only increases the risk to your skin.
Can I get a cover-up afterwards?
Often yes, and many clients come here specifically to lighten a piece enough for a cover-up. Tell your artist and us so we can aim for the right end point.
